Osborn Engineering is providing MEP engineering design services for the replacement of AHU-3 and cooling coil replacement for AHU-6. These units serve the second floor at Mariners Hospital, which includes private patient beds, isolation patient rooms, nursing support spaces, physical therapy, and private staff space. Our engineers are evaluating the existing conditions, making recommendations, and preparing construction documents for the replacement of AHU-3 and the replacement of the chilled water cooling coil for AHU-6. We are making recommendations to correct hot spots throughout the areas served by these units, including improving the quality of the air conditioning at the Pharmacy area and at the ICU wing, as well as investigating the system pressurization and balance.
