Pro Football Hall of Fame Hotel
Johnson Controls | Canton , Ohio
Osborn Engineering provided MEP, Fire Protection, and Technology Engineering for the new Hall of Fame Hotel, a feature element of the new Hall of Fame Village. The four-star hotel is a 10-floor tower containing 243 guest rooms and suites, podium housing, a 5-story convention center with multiple meeting rooms, three stories of retail space, and a first-floor reception, dining, and entertainment area. The theater on the first floor boasts a 3D Surround Sound and 4k video projector, to be upgraded to 8k by the time of installation. All guest rooms are automated through a touch screen interface that will allow users to control lighting, window treatments, HVAC, and audiovisual. Other features include an indoor/outdoor pool, player and guest lounges, a spa, and restaurants. Many aspects of the new project are dedicated to players’ histories and memorabilia. The attached garage is 409,038 total SF in size. This project has been designed, but not built. Osborn worked in conjunction with HKS Architects on this project.
