Osborn provided structural engineering services for a one story approximately 6,500 SF dining hall facility with full service kitchen amenities for the Juniper Knoll Reservation. This facility features architecturally exposed heavy wood timber roof structures in the dining and surrounding porch areas. The kitchen and other non-architecturally exposed areas consist of pre-engineered and sawn lumber roof structures which also house mechanical equipment penthouses.

The roof structures are typically supported by structural steel and timber framing along with load bearing cold-formed stud perimeter walls, all set on shallow spread footing foundations and conventional slab on grade.
