Osborn Engineering provided MEP, Technology, and Fire Protection engineering services for a new Cleveland Public Library branch in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood, south of Lexington between 65th and 66th Streets. The project is pursuing LEED Version 4 Silver certification and is utilizing an enhanced building envelope, high efficiency HVAC systems and controls, and all LED lighting. The library opened in November 2022, as the first new construction project occurring as part of a 10-year, $110 million project revitalizing all 27 branches. Completed at a cost of $5.8 million, this 8,000 SF branch offers patrons a highly functional and flexible space to access library materials and community resources.
