Osborn is serving as the Civil, Structural, MEP, and Technology Engineering design team on this new 144,000 SF food distribution facility. The Cleveland Food Bank will serve as the main hub for food distribution to all programmatic partners. The new facility includes a production kitchen, volunteer repack area added office space, and meeting rooms to accommodate staff and volunteers. Civil design includes stormwater management, grading, and coordination with all local authorities for soil & water and water pollution control. SMEP design includes the design of the building structure, with MEP support systems included for all food storage, preparation, and distribution facilities. Osborn worked in coordination with Food Service Provider for utilities and ventilation of the production kitchen. Technology design includes structured cabling and coordination of all pathways and locations for low voltage systems.
