Osborn Engineering provided Structural, MEP, and Technology Engineering services for the renovation of levels six and seven of the historic Goodyear Headquarters building in Akron’s East End Development. The scope included the renovation and reconditioning of existing air handling equipment to support the full tenant improvement and tenant improvement work (including emergency generator design and voice-activated fire alarm system). The scope also included the design of required IT rooms and data layouts and a new 2-floor monumental staircase and storefront system at historic light monitors. The project size is approximately 175,000 SF.
