Data Center Fire Suppression

Osborn Engineering provided Fire Protection design services to install new clean agent fire suppression systems inside three large scale data center spaces for the Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC), Columbus. The design was completed in accordance with NFPA 2001 and UFC 3-600-01. Osborn's design included designing the architectural features to seal the room, installing 30 NOVEC-1230 tanks and related distribution piping, 12 VESDA high sensitivity smoke detection systems, integration with existing building systems and the design of a post incident clean agent extraction system (HVAC) for each protected space.
