Tyrone Middle School Addition & Renovations
Pinellas County Schools | St. Petersburg , Florida
Osborn Engineering is providing full Civil Engineering services for the Tyrone Middle School renovation by Florida’s Pinellas County School District. The scope includes the re-design of the entire 24.4-acre campus including the demolition, new construction, or renovations of all buildings within the Middle School. This project will include space for the school’s Center of Innovation and Digital Learning. Osborn is working with Rowe Architects on this project.
The demolition scope includes the removal of 20 existing buildings. The renovation work includes six buildings on campus and will provide new interior walls and surfaces, exterior paint and facades, new ceilings and lights, new flooring, roof, and HVAC upgrades. Additionally, there will be four new buildings including the innovation center, multi-use collaborative spaces, science and general classrooms, and a cafeteria. There will also be a new central energy plant, new parking, onsite vehicular circulation and staging, safe-routes-to-school improvements, an athletic field, and track, and hardscape throughout the campus.
