The Cuyahoga Riverfront is one of Cleveland’s greatest treasures. Osborn Engineering, working under Bedrock Cleveland, plans to collaborate with city leadership and various stakeholders to develop a 20 to 30 year strategy for the future of our waterfront — one that will honor its history while also meeting the needs of our changing city. Improved access to public transit, green and sustainable opportunities, inclusive housing, and a revitalized Collision Bend are just some of the proposed changes that are included in this plan.

Construction at the Riverfront would include improvements to Tower City – changing from a mall to a marketplace, a project that would connect Downtown to the people of Cleveland. Along with this, there are plans to re-engage 130 acres of land along the riverfront by adding thousands of new housing units and millions of square feet of office and retail. The goal is for Cleveland to become an 18-hour city and a 15-minute neighborhood, allowing residents to access all essential services within a 15-minute walk over an 18-hour time frame.
