Osborn’s Construction Administration and Inspection group provided construction administration, inspection and materials management services for this project which consisted of the removal and replacement of deteriorated sections of 10” concrete pavement for 0.74 miles of Mayfield Road (US 322) from Lander Road to the west City limits. Bi-directional traffic was maintained on the 5-lane urban roadway.

 

While working under the LPA Person in Responsible Charge, the team ensured construction work achieved plan and specification intent. Other services included daily traffic monitoring, coordinating inspection at project sites, oversight of materials testing, analysis of field data, reviewing plans and records, initiating change orders, and assistance with estimates, conducting progress meetings, preparation of meeting minutes and finalizing project close-out. Additionally, project staff completed a number of periodic reports and reviews, including the required pay estimate quantity summary, certified payroll review, contractor and subcontractor employee wage interviews and reports, periodic progress meetings, and documentation photographs.
