TMRW Sports, founded by Mike McCarley, Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlroy, has launched a new golf league called "TGL presented by SoFi," which will be played at the custom-built SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

 

OSPORTS served as Architect of Record for the project, a 250,000 SF performance golf and entertainment broadcast facility housed in a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB). The facility includes locker/green rooms, food and beverage services, and various amenities to support events, as well as a control room, VIP Bar/Lounge area, small retail space, exterior fan zone, admin offices, common areas, kitchen, restrooms, ticketing, loading dock, storage, press room, and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rooms.

 

The nearly 250,000 square-foot SoFi Center can accommodate up to 1,500 fans on match nights during TGL’s season. Spectators will have an up-close view of the action and numerous screens and feeds for player performance data will create a high-energy atmosphere.

 

Inside the venue, advanced simulator technology enables the space to bring golf indoors for "Primetime Team Golf." Alongside the simulator, a dynamic short-game complex includes three sand bunkers and three individual 15 feet x 27 feet Virtual Greens within a massive 3,800 square-foot putting surface. The short-game complex is approximately the size of four basketball courts, while the entire playing surface inside the venue (simulator area and short game complex) is roughly the size of a football field.
