The new $48M Health and Surgery Center located in Brecksville, Ohio is one of four planned for MetroHealth to assist the community. The two-story, free-standing medical and surgical outpatient center houses an emergency room with a helipad for Metro Life Flights, medical offices where patients can receive primary and specialty care (cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, OB-GYN, ophthalmology, and orthopedics), pathology and radiology services, a pharmacy and infusion section, and various testing services. Video conferencing rooms will allow doctors at various MetroHealth facilities to consult with one another.
The Health Center is located on State Route 82 right off of I-77 and was designed in conjunction with Signet Development and CBLH Design and Perspectus Architecture.
The new Health Center is 114,000 square feet and houses the latest in outpatient care. Osborn Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, technology, and process engineering services to the design team with a focus on building performance.
