Columbus City Schools
Baseball and Softball Fields
Osborn Engineering provided site/civil engineering services for the new baseball and softball fields for South High School in Columbus, Ohio. The 8.2 acre site at the former Deshler Elementary School was ready for use by Spring 2015.
The new ball fields feature natural grass turf and each are equipped with two dugouts, bleachers, scoreboards, and backstops complete with fencing to meet current high school athletic competition standards and regulations.
Osborn also prepared a master plan for the green space at Deshler Elementary to determine what additional sporting activities can be provided by South High School.
