Osborn was commissioned by the client to conceptualize, plan and design the expansion of their newsroom. Through a visioning process, which included workshops and facility assessment.
The primary planning strategy was to completely re-tool how news is aggregated and distributed to multiple platforms (ie Website, Social Media, Streaming Media, Live Broadcasts, Edited Content, Push Notification) focusing principally on the digital aspect of news distribution and ultimately consumption. This was achieved spatially and technically with a detailed mapping of workflow throughout the newsroom.
